We will be constantly updating, adding new features to these software products. These tools are but a small example of what is availble in the Asia Online Enterprise Translation portal to our customer.

Asia Online Language Studio^TM Lite

The Asia Online Language Studio^TM Lite is a set of tools that assist in the preparation of data the assesment of translation quality. While many of the tools are available on the Internet today as Perl scripts or small stand alone applications, until now these tools have not been consolidated into a single software package.

This is a tool for both business users and translation professionals. It produces high-quality reports in HTML and PDF formats. It also exports MS Excel.

The Asia Online Language Studio^TM Lite provides the following key functions:

Translation Quality Evaluation - Analyses translations using the BLEU, F-Measure and Translation Error Rate (TER) metrics. Other metrics will be added in the near future including METEOR, NIST and TER. All metrics use one or more reference translations to compare against one or more candidate translations.
Text Tools - A set of tools that provide a quick an simple means to analyze text.
- Word Counts - Analyze text for the number of words and number of unique words. This is useful for estimating how large a translation job is. It is also useful to count the amount of words in a large file and providing the counts as a job parameter in the Asia Online Translation Analysis and Error Correction Cost Calculator. This tool has the added advantage of being about to count the number of words in one side of a TMX file.
- Line/Segment Counts - Count how many lines in a document. Currently supports TXT and TMX formats with MS Word coming soon.
- Sentence Counts - Count how many sentences in a document and the average number of words per segment.
- Extract and Merge - Extract data from TMX, XLIFF and Tabbed Pair formats.
- Convert - Convert data between TMX, XLIFF and Tabbed Pair formats.
- N-Grams - Count N-Grams in text files, merge N-Gram files and counts, and match N-Grams to a word list.

Many more functions and features are available, with new features being added constantly to make text processing and analysis easier.
