Asia Online currently supports 512 language pairs, with an additional 232 language pairs currently under development. This represents more language pairs than any other automated machine translation software or product in the market. Collectively the Asia Online team has built more translation engines that any other group on the planet which has enabled us to build high quality language pairs rapidly.

All of Asia Online's language pairs go direct from one language to another (i.e. French German). Asia Online does not use English as a middle language (i.e. French English ... English German) like many other platforms to bridge the gap between language pairs. This means that the opportunity to introduce translation errors is reduced and the quality of the output is higher.

Asia Online is constantly developing language pairs. A language pair is a single direction between one language to another such as English Chinese. Translating between the other direction Chinese English is another different language pair. While these may seem relatively the same, consider the differences between language. Chinese does not have subject, gender or tense, English has subject, gender and tense. As a result much more pre-processing is required to determine gender, tense and subject.

The table below shows the current language pairs supported in green and language pairs planned or under development in orange. Other language pairs are currently being developed on request for customers.
