Near-human quality automated machine translation offers an alternative to human

So How Good Is It?
No automated translation engine can be expected to produce near-human quality translations
out-of-the-box. Language Studio™ has an iterative quality evolution process
that takes a predictable path to quality improvement. Asia Online provides a variety
of tools and processes to facilitate the enhancement of each translation system
so that it utilizes preferred vocabulary, grammar and writing style. Merely being
understandable (gist) is not good enough if your goal is to publish.
What makes Asia Online's Language Studio™ translation platform unique is that
it continues to evolve and learn through ongoing Human Feedback - every edit that
you make helps to improve future translations. Unlike other SMT or Rules Based Machine
Translation (RBMT) systems that have a very slow and painful error correction process,
Asia Online's approach allows the user to take immediate control of how the initial
translation engine will improve and evolve. The greater the post-editing and post-editing
efforts made to the initial engine, then the greater and more quickly it will improve.
The Language Studio™ Human Feedback Loop ensures that translation quality
constantly improves. When translation errors are corrected, the platform learns

On-Site Server Installation
For mass translation, real-time translation or translation within a secure environment,
Asia Online offers on-site server licenses where you provide the hardware and manage
your own translation environment. Backed by Asia Online's support team, your own
environment can be scaled out from just a couple of servers to thousands of servers
to meet your ongoing business growth requirements.

Onsite Translation:

Translate within your own office or secure facility. Licenses are based on language
pairs and concurrent translation volume capacity.

Onsite Customization:

Customize and train your translation engines from within your own office or secure
facility. This option is suitable when the data that you are training your custom
engine with may be sensitive or cannot be provided to Asia Online due to legal or
other restrictions.

Translation in the Cloud / Software as a Service (SaaS)
Asia Online hosts the entire translation environment for your on-demand use. No
servers, software or hardware are required, just your web browser. With Translation
in the cloud, you pay for translation as you go.

The more words purchased, the lower the costs. Fees can be as low as fractions of
a cent per word with sufficient volume.

Monthly Fee:
|
A fixed maximum number of words per month for a fixed fee. Minimum time periods
apply.

Suitable for eDiscovery clients. Minimum volumes apply.

Most organizations can take advantage of lower costs by utilizing our load on demand
model. When a custom translation is loaded on demand, there is a short delay before
a translation starts. Once started, translations are very fast as they are spread
across many servers.
For organizations that require an instantaneous translation, Asia Online also offers
dedicated servers. Multiple servers can be added to meet even the fastest speed
